I have dined in and eaten take out from Central since 1979, my fortune to have been introduced to this place by my step father's extended Greek family. Excellent all around, even after covid and an ownership change, due continuity a former chef taking it over and maintaining recipes and understanding of the location and business. Parking: There is a large free parking garage for the area directly across the street, available and nearly always proving all the parking needed for groups without having to.worry about street parking.
Arguably one of THEE best gyros in the city of Chicago. Definitely in the Belmont-Central area. The food is always warms, delicious and cooked perfectly. My go to is always the gyro meal, which yes might be a little more than usual, but it is 100% worth it. The texture of the meat. The amount of sauce, the onions and tomato. The sandwich alone is filling that I can never finish the fries. Haha. Been going here for about 15 years? Will continue. Highly recommend
I have not been to this place in about 20 years and everything was still great as I remembered. I ordered the Pasticcio Dinner with a side of Lemon rice soup. Everything was really good, the service was also good. Don't have much to say about this restaurant, so if you like Greek food give it a try. Parking: Large parking lot located across the street.
