Wow! I've had lots of good BBQ in lots of places but Cattleack is easily one of the very best. I'm in Dallas several times a year for work and have wanted to eat here for a while but today was the first time I timed it right. The line was long but moved pretty quickly, we were outside maybe 30 minutes. I had the Texas Trinity - brisket, ribs and sausage with burnt end beans, hatch chili Mac and cheese on the side and Crack Cake for dessert. Once we had our food there was plenty of seating available inside at large picnic tables. There were 3 different sauces available on the table, I thought all were good. The ribs fell off the bone as soon as I touched them, the brisket was perfectly smoked with just the right amount of fat and the sausage was stuffed with flavor. The sides were both really good too. The smoke taste from the burnt ends in the beans was definitely the predominant flavor so depends on how much you like that intense smokiness but the Mac and Cheese with the hatch chil

Agree with everyone else - best BBQ you will find. I absolutely recommend the brisket. It is insane just how good that brisket is - juicy, tender, flavorful. I can't say enough good things about it. I also tried the green Chile sausage which was good, but if I did it again I would just get brisket. Their BBQ sauce is sweet and not too thick. It paired very well with the sausage. Also a lot of folks like the beans the most (it has bits of burned tips in it), but I think it was a bit heavy on the smoked flavor. Just my two cents. Either way, I will definitely be back next time I'm in the office. Vegetarian options: Not the right place to go if you want vegetarian food. Lots of other options nearby.

Been coming here for years, the BBQ is great best in Dallas for sure. But I ordered 4.5 pounds of the amazing moist brisket but they only gave me two slices of bread ???? I paid about $145 in total with tip and y’all can’t give me more then two slices of bread, Come on now!! I get y’all cutting corners to make more profit but y’all making money, especially since white bread doesn’t cost much. Love this place, owner is great but y’all could give more than two slices of bread for orders over 4 Pounds and more, Again Great Texas BBQ and service, but y’all could have given more bread for the amount charged. Keep going with the hard work but help the people out too. Would given Five stars, but I feel 4 is best for the Consumer.
