Casserole Soul Cafe

Wowwww I CAN NOT BELIEVE A SOUL FOOD PLACE PUT ZERO SEASONING ON FISH! I got the fish dinner and was super excited to try them because I found out they were2 min from my work place. I bit into the fish and spit it back out. The macaroni was super bland. My husband is a real live garbage disposal and likes anything. I saved the fish for him for when he get off work. He took a bite and said nawwwwll baby where you get this from? They can keep that! My son took a piece and said ewww taste like just grease and cornmeal...I normally dont write reviews but someone needs to let you all know that after anyone eats that fish ..I'm sure they wont order it again. Please work on SEASONING your food. Everyone that walks in does not eat like a 90year old. CEDAR HILL LOCATION

My Mom has been raving about this place for a couple of months now so while out with her we decided to go and have lunch. We walked right in, sat down and was greeted by Aaliyah whom my Mom had seen at the location before at a previous visit. Aaliyah is kind, hospitable, personable and delivered excellent customer service. We chatted a few minutes, she took our orders and within 15 minutes or so our food was delivered to our table. She continued to check on us throughout our dining time...not too much or too little. She's great! For lunch my Mom had the small plate of chicken tenders, enchilada casserole cup, and black eyed peas with cornbread. I had the small plate of fried chicken wings, chicken and broccoli cheese casserole cup, greens, and cornbread. We thoroughly enjoyed both of our meals. The wings and greens were seasoned just right, the small cup casserole was delicious, and the small plate meal was enough to fill me up. The location is quaint and quiet and the jazz music added

Overall experience was a 5. The music matched the atmosphere and food! I say give it a try. Features: Tables are a good distance apart and they are wiping everything down after each guest!
