Casamel's Pizza

I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza at approximately 12:23pm for delivery approximately three minutes away from the establishment, not only did it take an hour to receive it, I never received it at all because it was sent across the street to another building, when I called to ask about this at first they said they’ll go get it and bring it to me which was completely unethical to even say because that’s just disgusting, then when I said that would be unacceptable, I was told that they could remake the order but it would be another 45 minutes, which is outrages and I’m literally 3 minutes down the street! So I just asked for a refund and at least that was given. Tsk Tsk, very disappointed.

I tried Casamels pizza yesterday as I found out my normal shop was closed on Mondays. I was looking forward to trying something new, and if the food was good potentially making them our new go-to. In order to be our new go-to Casamels had a pretty high bar to beat. Well, they failed miserably. I've never paid so much for chicken wings in my life. $16 for 8 of the smallest wings I have ever seen. I don't know if the order was wrong, but I guess I was expecting a lot more than that for the price. Any competition out there within 1sq mile that sells chicken wings is no where near that expensive, and if they are somewhat close the wings are gigantic, not little baby wings like we received. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza that was pretty expensive as well, bit it tasted alright. Overall, for what I paid I am very disappointed and I most likely will never return to this location. Prices are very high when you consider the quantity and inconsistency. The food can be good but also, as I just said, inconsistent. I was nonetheless a regular customer until one too many times where they skimped on the toppings. I made a comment to the manager and she replied about "technically, if there's one piece of topping per slice then it's acceptable." I couldn't believe it. How's that work for onions, mushrooms, black olives? Come to think of it, how's that work for any topping you care to name? Ridiculous. I stopped going here. The place up the road suits me just fine.
