We had gone there for dinner with guests from California. They also loved the food. We order Cadillac Margaritas and vegetarian fajitas. We would definitely recommend this place.
My husband and I found this place after moving to North County. You know…new neighborhood…let’s find the best local eats! I’ve lived in The Lou my whole life and not sure when they opened, but couldn’t believe that I hadn’t yet found this place. From the welcoming entrance, with a convenient covered drop off, to the adorable gift shop when you walk in the doors, we immediately felt like this was our place. The hostess is always polite and sometimes not the warmest like others have mentioned, but they’re usually teens, so I don’t have super-high expectations. My teenagers can present a little sullen sometimes too. It’s hard work this adulting stuff. ???? Skip over it and wish them well because what awaits for you on the other side of the arched entrance is fabulous. All of the decor is keeping with the usual Mexican materials, but with so many beautiful celestial accents. Everywhere you turn you see the sun, moon or stars. I took a road trip with my cousin to visit a friend. He took us to this restaurant and the food was good. I ordered a shrimp fajita and it was awesome. I should have taken a picture before I mixed everything up. A good place for Mexican food ????. The wait staff was friendly as well as the manager, who was muy guapo.
