Casa Jimenez Mexican Restaurant Bar and grill

I’ve never posted a negative review before, but I have share my experience here. Our waitress who apparently is also a manager, got several things wrong with our order (at least 5), and it took 30 minutes to pay the check when there was only 2 other tables there. I ordered the Camarones a La diabla, which is my favorite dish at Mexican restaurants, and what they served me was shrimp in salsa. I think they thought that someone like me wouldn’t know the difference. I have been to the location on Cal Oaks many times and I highly recommend that location. Don’t eat at this location.

worst chile relleno I have ever had (thin as a pancake and burnt egg). I taco shop would have delivered better. The salsa was like pace picante sauce and the beans and rice...well....were awful! We went with a work crew and all were very disappointed. Would not recommend this restaurant.

I'm kind of disappointeKindd lately & I don't think I will be returning due to their dishonesty. They mark up the prices subtly on each item before checking out in hopes you don't notice I guess. The tacos are good, but were told they were 2.25 for taco Tuesday & the taco salad was $14. Get the bill and they marked up the tacos .50cents & the salad was suddenly $15. Didn't notice until we got home so its not worth going back. I hope my overpayment was given as a tip to the server.
