Carrabba's Italian Grill

Yesterday was my birthday and was looking forward to eating here for the first time ever. My husband and I drove her from ATL to come and eat at this location due to the previous reviews. However, we arrived and sat us down at the last table on the right side. We waited for 30 mins for our waitress to come and at least offer us something to drink. But she didn’t even welcome us because she was too busy flirting and laughing with a few co- workers and guys at the table in front of us. * please check the cameras if is needed. After 30 mins my husband and I decided to leave because we were starving and thirsty. I asked to speak to the manager pr owner but they told me he was not available. I am honestly disappointed because my husband and I were looking forward to wariness here all week! I hope that the owner or management sees this review because I feel like it was unfair for us and for the restaurant’s food. ** It was the customer service’s fault.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Carrabbas, ever since they catered an event at my elementary school 15+ years ago! The chicken Marsala is an all time favorite - love the flavors!! The herb oil bread dipping sauce is divine!! I love it! (Though ok gluten free so unfortunately I don’t get to eat it - tho this last time I took some herbs home and used oN GF bread which was incredible!) I have stopped ordering the broccoli as a side, as the last several times it tasted frozen mush. The fries and salad are good! They have this new $10 deal which is actually pretty good - you order any entree and can get the same or lesser price entree for $10 to take home! I’d love if they found a way to bring in gluten free bread. But otherwise, all around, I love Carrabbas!!

I have to admit, I would have never imagined a chain-Italian restaurant would be one of my favorite local places, but this particular location of Carrabba’s is so amazing it has encouraged me to venture out of my comfort zone and give other new places a try. I walked over one day while waiting for Discount Tire to equip my SUV with some new shoes, and although I only meant to stay there for 30-45m, I probably spent the better half of 2 hours just having a great time, eating good food and having great conversations, both with the staff there and the strangers that popped in and out of communal discussions. I think it comes down to the fact that I sat at the bar top and got some of the most amazing service that one could expect, not just once but on multiple occasions. I’m horrible with names, so excuse me for only remember one of the two amazing people that helped me — the first is an older lady who’s worked there for 10+ years (I just met her yet she made me instantly feel like family)
