Carmine's Restaurant and Bar

Carmine’s has a great bar! If your looking for a nice place to watch a sports event - this is it. Easy to get to, pleasant atmosphere, great food, good specials and fantastic happy hour prices. We went on a Sunday afternoon and our ,bartender “Lance” was fun, friendly, and attentive-we never had to call him over. Happy hour pricing was $1 off call drinks and $3 off appetizer till 5- I spent $12! They have a nice outside patioI. If your in Woodbury, venture in - it’s worth the trip. 5 stars!

This isn’t an Italian restaurant. It’s a sports bar that happens to serve Italian food and does not do it well. I’ve never set foot into an Italian place that plays country music. I knew we were in trouble as soon as I heard it. Service was great. Above and beyond. But it wasn’t enough to save the food. The marinara sauce was so sweet, it wasn’t edible. So greasy too. The chicken in the Alfredo tasted like it was frozen. My kids wouldn’t eat it they were so grossed out. We paid a lot for food that was not good. It was so greasy and bland. Very disappointed Edit to add: What an incredibly mature response from the owners. Even more of a red flag. You shouldn’t own a business if you cannot handle negative reviews. So unprofessional.

It takes a lot for me to 5 star a restaurant but today Carmine's deserved it. The restaurant is clean, bright with nice views. The service was attentive and helpful. Suggesting happy hour specials. The food was superb. We had pasta Flatbread and salad each very good. Pasta was cooked perfectly sauce was think and delicious. I would say if you live in Woodbury or are passing through like me stop. You won't be disappointed.
