I can only rave about Carmella's Plates and Pints. The décor is beautiful, the bartenders are fun and kind, and the food and drinks are more than fantastic. I am always blown away by the food when I come here. The octopus melts in your mouth and all other dishes are phenomenal as well. I recommend coming for both brunch and dinner, or just stop by for a drink and dessert. I'm always happy with my experience at Carmella's.

Let me start this out by saying the restaurants is literally beautiful and the service is so nice! The entire aesthetic is so gorgeous and really emerges you into a different time period. It has a very speak easy vibe to it. The food was good, the only thing I would say in opposition of it is that I do feel like it is more fancy for fancy sake than taste. Some of the combinations of food seem confusing because they're not super complimentary to each other other than the fact that they sound more gourmet. For example the duck fat french fries. They sound almost like a delicacy when you read it but duck fat is a very fatty in comparison to other meats and it's used with thick steak fries so it gets a very fatty taste to it which wasn't my favorite. I liked the food I just wish the pairings were a little more correlated with the taste. The bread pudding was phenomenal, the salad was so good, there were definitely high highs of the meal just a few things I wasn't the biggest fan of!
