We called in a order they said 25 mins waited 20 mins before driving down to pick up. I live .05 miles away. Waited 45 more mins for food after arriving In restaurant. People who came in and ordered there after i came in got their food first. Burritos were cold chicken tasted burnt inside the burritos no flavor but burnt. Chicken quesadilla tasted burnt could taste nothing else. Burritos and quesadilla was cold. Pupusas was hot and okay. The slaw and sauce that comes with the pupusas was in sandwich bags. They was out of carne asada so we had to change the order on the fly. They lady would not read back the order over the phone since we had to change the order in the middle. She told me 25 mins with out a price quote and hung up on me. 2 burnt chicken burritos 1 chicken burnt quesadilla 2 orders of chicken pupusas and 1 order of platanos cost 4 people 58 bucks. Over priced for long waits and for food with the only flavor of burnt.
Carlos has the best pupusas. You need to try them, but don't expect them to be fast. Good pupusas take time. Expect to wait, but your patience will be rewarded. I really like the Loroco y queso, but they are all really good. Also, it is best to order in Spanish.
Carlos's Kitchen is the best place in Utah for authentic pupusas. Absolutely delicious and clean. Their other dishes are also fantastic. I had platanos with beans and I finished that plate before the pupusas arrived.
