Caribbean Delight

My husband and I were in town spending time with my brother in law who is a retired cop in Ladson and recently suffered a massive stroke. We'd been mostly staying at or around the hospital but decided to go out for a quick dinner Found this unbelievable gem, can't believe our luck! The staff was so friendly, the food was absolutely amazing (the oxtail was the best I've ever had, the jerk chicken was fantastic as well), and extremely reasonable prices especially for the amount and quality of food we received. Highly highly recommend!!! Vegetarian options: Rice and collard greens delicious (and plantains too!) Parking: Behind restaurant, four spots available.

The food is great. But when spending my money i want food and customer service to be great. The lady who took my order on 8/5/22 around 6ish had a bad attitude. I froze in shocked how she spoke to me. But she must've caught herself and realized she needed to tone herself down. Shame can't really complain on rude behavior anymore due to lack of workers. And the business owners allow it, in fear of having no workers ????????‍♀️

Smaller restaurant, you can dine in or take out. Staff was super friendly! We had the ox tail, jerk chicken, curried shrimp with rice and peas, collard greens, cabbage and plantains. HUGE portions, we had some and saved the rest for later. Everything was delicious! We will definitely come back when we are back in town to try more items on the menu!!
