Caribbean Chicken & Fish

First time here on a Saturday for lunch. I ordered oxtail with Mac n cheese, collards, and sorrel juice. Everything was good but the collards we're not tender enough for my taste but still good, maybe because it was early lunch hours so they weren't soft yet. I will definitely come back.

Nice people!! Very generous portions, great flavors, nice drink selection, serves a variety of vegan and vegetarian options However, good business breeds complacency. Customer service suffers and there seems to be no respect for cleanliness. That place needs to be cleaned and the elder lady definitely needs help on a Saturday night. We waited 1 hr and 1/2 for food. I should never hear a dispute between the supervisor and the line Cooks about avoiding work. They couldn't complete our order after selling food we had already ordered to the next customers. I should never know when someone with a fresh concept is going to put something in the microwave and serve it on the line. The same dust and grease film on those pictures and That same air conditioner have been pushing out dirty air over all that food for over a decade. I don't see what I don't know you can look in the pictures and see the same dirty wall perpendicular to the same AC . I understand the concept of a shack, hole in the wa

I was really hoping to enjoy this spot due to the location. But sadly I won’t be back. The food is bland and odd-tasting. The oxtails tasted like cinnamon and sugar and the curry goat was the blandest I’ve ever tasted. And for the price, it didn’t seem like rice and peas should count as one of the 2 sides. The food looked good but wasn’t appetizing at all. Maybe the jerk chicken is better, you can smell the grill burning outside when you walk up. But I won’t be trying them again. (The food is swimming because I asked for extra gravy but that seemed to amplify the poor taste). Meat was tender but the flavor just wasn’t there.
