Captain D's

This location is alright but for some reason their breadsticks aren't the same yummy taste as the other Captain Ds in the city. It's so weird. Then they have a 'To Go' area with sign but no one is ever over there. Would be nice if they used that little area for to go orders. It would help the flow. Because that little bench at the register only holds 3 people comfortably.

I ordered the giant spicy combo fish sandwich and the 12 piece Shrimp. The fish had no spice whatsoever and only 2 small pieces of fish were on the giant bun. Highly disappointed! The shrimp were good. I only wanted the spicy fish sandwich because of the tv commercial. Very Deceptive! The Captain D's on Chamberlayne Ave use to be all 5 stars until my last visit last year. Shrimp were much smaller than usual. Short Pump Captain D's went bad years ago. It is not Cookout Restaurant.

The only thing I would say is that they have to ask pick up customers for their names before handing out the food. I ordered my dinner through doordash and when I went to get it they told me somebody already picked it up. It wasn't me obviously, but they didn't care. The manager told me that they can't make me another meal, which I payed for, and to call doordash and complain to them. How is it doordashe's fault that they gave my food to someone else without making sure that it's going to the right person?
