We had just landed in Sarasota and needed to eat. Captain Brian's was suggested by Google, and I'm so glad we went! I had the seafood combo platter with a crabcake and blackened grouper, shrimp and scallops. It was all fantastic. The sautéed spinach and crispy potato wedges were great. Somehow I managed to fit in a little bit of key lime pie, too. Yum! We were inside only briefly, snagging a table outside. Our interactions with four staff members were positive. Dorothy was our primary server, and she was excellent. It was lovely to see how the staff worked as a team. My partner has a sensitivity to fish, which the kitchen accommodated by grilling his chicken away from fish. He devoured his sandwich and his salad, declaring it all delicious. We both remarked on how fresh everything was.
