A family favorite place to dine! The gumbo is awesome! The oysters are fresh and delicious. You can't go wrong with any of the baskets! The service is always amazing and everyone is welcoming. My only qualm, and it is tiny, they don't have the current Houston Astros games playing on ATT Southwest. But it's okay... because the food and service more than make up for it!

There really wasn't anything going on so that must be a register OK service also a 4 star food was 3 Star. They are definitely a little skimpy on their French Fries. Also way way over Priced for the quality of food. If in going to spend 18 for catfish and shrimp ill go to papadeaux next time or save 8 buck and go to manbos. Pretty upset with this visit that will likely be my last. Capt Benny has Been our family spot for over 17 years, we drive 35 min one way to get there. My 4 year old chose to have his bday dinner here, only to have a server tell me that the manager says we can’t sing happy birthday and eat a cupcake we brought from home for him. Pretty disappointed in the sequence of events. Pick somewhere else to celebrate your bday if you want more than the 2 desserts they offer. Additionally. The manager stands and watches the guest needing things (watched my whole family eat a calamari app on napkins cause she wouldn’t bring us plates) while the lone waitress runs around trying serve all the people.
