I was very disappointed with my order. I got a chicken with mozzarella and balsamic sandwich. The bread was dry, the chicken was dry, the mozzarella was sub par and it was drenched with to much balsamic. Overall for the price of those sandwiches it's a huge rip off. The staff was not rude, rather indiffent and the store was not as organized as some of the other places in the area. I do not recommend.
The meatball subs here are horrible. Mildly flavored, but gross meatballs topped with a tasteless sauce. Meatballs are hard to screw up, so I don't know how these ones came out so badly. Consider changing your recipe for both the sauce and the meatballs. I don't see a way to respond to my review response, so I am updating this review text. I went to the location in 1 New York Plaza
This place has a great feel to it. Located in the downstairs shops concourse, Cappone's serves up some fantastic food at 1 New York Plaza. The chicken parm is super popular. I had the eggplant parm and it was delicious! The eggplant was crispy- but not because it was fried... oven baked, evenly breaded, thick pieces of eggplant between a fresh whole wheat hero with some of the best sauce and cheese I have had! CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!!
