Glad to have on in Midlothian this one was as good as the city. I got the Gordon chicken and my gf got the Buffalo chicken. They were both good and the tacos was a good starter. It was well enjoyed. Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes Takeout: Yes Delivery: Yes Curbside pickup: No … More
Went here for brunch around noon on a Sunday. Was seated quickly, but it took about 30 minutes to recieve our order. I had the Grandma Waffle, with strawberries, blueberries, eggs and chicken. The chicken had no flavor whatsoever, tasted like something from the grocery frozen food section. The waffle itself also didn't have much flavor, neither did the eggs. The fruit was very fresh and tasted good. The western waffle wasn't bad, but suffered from the same issues with the lack of flavor in the eggs and waffle. The jalapenos were good, not too spicy.
After visiting the Richmond location for years and loving it having gone to this location and ordered something I've ordered many many times and seeing it prepared much differently with different ingredients was very disappointing. Normally the chicken and waffle is a piece of crunchy breaded chicken. However this location does not offer that, and replaced what is normally large pieces of crunchy breaded chicken with what I can only describe as Tyson chicken nuggets. They weren't crunchy and they were very gamey. If you want to have the true capital waffleshop experience I guess you have to go downtown unless you are getting a chicken free waffle. We had also been overcharged, charging us for a tac burrito/taco, something we didn't order, and having to get that fixed I'm still waiting to see if the difference was refunded. I did not complain I simply asked why the chicken was different they told me why and then proceeded laugh about my discontent. It is what it is, I thought it was
