I had a great experience at Capital Ale House a couple weeks ago. Went in for a quick lunch, and the chicken caprese was delicious! Fast, friendly service and great food as well. Definitely recommend it if you're in the area.
While I was in town, I enjoyed lunch here with my co-workers. The asparagus and broccoli I ordered were well season and the salmon was tasty. I would have liked a bigger portion of fish, so I took off one star. Kind servers were also contributory to the pleasant experience.
Stayed overnight in Richmond area as we were passing through and decided to give Capital Ale a try for dinner. Definitely did not disappoint!! Hubby had the full rack of ribs, and I had the chicken, shrimp and andouille pasta.. and we started off with an absolutely HUGE bavarian pretzel with delicious mustard and beer cheese dip. We both loved our meals, and the were generous portions...great value! We didn't try any of the beers or drinks, but they have a very large selection to choose from.
