So happy to find a Greek restaurant! My Husband's family is from Athens and we love Greek food. Capers was excellent, only problem was deciding what to order, the menu offered so many wonderful choices. We got Lamb burger, roasted veggie flatbread and calamari, all excellent! Ambrosia drink was recommended and was perfect for the warm day, refreshing and delicious. Taylor, our server was delightful, very attentive and helpful in our decisions on what to order. We picked up baklava cheesecake to take home and WOW.......so good! Looking forward to next time,we live 1.5 hours away but will def be back!
Spontaneous stop for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. A good selection of Mediterranean dishes and drinks. I selected the falafel sandwich with a side of Greek potatoes, the falafels are delicious and good size. The dressing clean fresh not a lot of lemon juice. I sat outside with #bogiedog at a shaded table on the historic square watching people enjoying a glass of wine. Very attentive and informed staff, they made certain i and Bogie were taken care of. Perfect stop before driving back to Atlanta.
So, my husband and I decided to give this “cute little greek restaurant” a shot being new to the city of Dahlonega, it was a Friday afternoon around 4:30 when we went in for an early dinner. We don’t drink so all we ordered was water, as well as the $18 “sampler” that included tzatziki, hummus, and baba ghanouj. We got our appetizer, but had to wait another 25 min for the server/bartender to come take our actual food order. The pita bread was generic store bought and burned on one side, the tzatziki was flavorless, the hummus was even worse, the only thing that has any flavor was the baba ghanouj, but even that was mediocre at best. I ordered the falafel sandwich, it was lack luster and very inconsistent in flavor. It was inauthentic and very basic and of course the pita was burnt. I ordered the green beans as a side and they were lacking in flavor and soggy. My husband ordered the Gyro, that was by far the most disappointing basic frozen boiled gyro meat and again that tasteless tzatz
