Cantina Beach

Had an opportunity to eat at the Cantina Beach while staying at the Ritz. While waiting for our reservation, we had the guacamole with a drink at the bar. Some reviews I read said it was so-so but we thought it was very good with fresh flavors. We asked the staff for recommendations for dinner. We decided to follow their lead rather than go with our usual (split an order of fajitas). So glad we did. Based on recommendations, we shared the crispy shrimp appetizer and the verde salad with blackened seasonal catch. Both were excellent and more than enough for two people. After having the guacamole earlier we couldn’t finish the shared orders. We agreed that if we had an opportunity to come back here we’d skip the guacamole (although very good) so that we could finish the shrimp and salad. All was great just a lot of food! Service was excellent. Thumbs up all the way around.

Great food here, excellent service and fair prices for an on property restaurant. And your sitting on the ocean. Can't go wrong

We went there on a busy Sat aftn after walking along the beach, the server accommodated us with an umbrella shaded beach couch seat. We ordered margarita and beer, the drink was a bit too sweet and too much ice for $18 price tag. Our server was very friendly and offered free chips and salsa while we waited for our food to arrive. The chi Ken fajitas were well flavored but a bit on dry side, but the beef barbacoa tacos were delicious...just wished there was more than 2 on a serving. Overall we enjoyed the ambience and the courteous service, and it's nice to have food and drinks on the ⛱️. But the $95 bill is a bit on the ???? side.
