Canby Asparagus Farm Casa de Tamales

Great local spot. Quirky, but wholesome. Ordered chips and salsa, chorizo and asparagus plate and one grilled veggie tamale. The asparagus was charred perfectly, the chorizo was crisp, homemade tortillas were warm, salsa was hot and chips were fresh. Plus margaritas were strong. Highly recommend!

Wow what a horrible experience. The owner is very rude and seemed to be racist. I called and asked how much were the nacatamales and the owner said "if you're asking the price it's because you can't afford it" ???? who in their right mind (specially the owner) says that!! I was asking because my neighbors wanted to know. But after that response I will never go back! And I will make sure to let my employees know about the scumbag owner, which they were so disappointed after hearing how rude he was. This place just lost so many of my employees that use to go during their lunch time. And $22.95 for a nacatamal? Are you out of your mind!! They don't even taste like the real deal. All your tamales are frozen and fake. STAY AWAY AND SAVE YOUR MONEY Go to a REAL Mexican restaurant.

Moist, flavorful masa and yummy fillings. The very best tamales I remember having. The sauce for the wet burrito is also amazing! Charles is a very dear man and the treasures throughout & next door are fascinating.
