Overall, we had a good experience. My wife got the salmon and a shrimp appetizer, while I got a cauliflower crust Hawaiian pizza. They initially brought out my pizza regular instead of cauliflower crust, but they apologized for the mistake and corrected it within 7 or 8 minutes. My pizza was about 20 bucks, which is a little high for a personal pizza, I think, but I like that I could get a second pizza to take and bake at home for another $10. My wife loved both the shrimp app and salmon main course!!!! We also had the chocolate souffle for dessert. It was rich and yummy, but not overly sweet. There is a decent selection of beers on tap, but not the best selection of IPAs. We will definitely be back. We got the shrimp scampi zucchini to go for a friend, and she was very pleased with it as well. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options for pizzas and pasta. Dietary restrictions: There is a variety of gluten-free options, including the cauliflower crust, which has a great crunch
Understand they were busy on Father's Day. Didn't mind the wait (25 min). Waiter took our order and never came back except to give us the check. We had to ask other staff for salt, pepper, sugar and napkins. Caesar salad had hardly any dressing. Couldn't bother asking yet another person for more. Pizza was OK. Restaurant is dirty. You can see dust on the median between booths and the bar area. Only reason we went is to use my gift card. I ordered red velvet cake to go to use up my gift card. I didn't check it before leaving and got the butter pound cake. Wouldn't go back again.
I've been a pizza loving fool most of my life and I consider the California Pizza kitchen one heck of a great place to eat. The pizza is off the hook. I recommend this place to just kick back and enjoy some very good food.
