First time there and wasn't very impressed. I got the dynamite shrimp bowl which was okay, I also got the Cajun fish taco which was also okay. My wife got the Cajun shrimp and salmon tacos and they were both okay. The grilled asparagus had a good seasoning but was completely raw
Ahi poke appetizer was different from the one I had before. Maybe the different locations have a different spin on it? Regardless, this one was flavorful and tasty. My white fish was a little overcooked but still good. Didn't care too much for the ahi, but my coworker loved it. Sea bass had too much burnt skin on one side. Also, I've never seen a CA fish grill put your fish on top of your sides for every plate. My coworker got sweet potato fries and brussel sprouts. The sprouts had balsamic on it and it really ruined the sweet potato fries. Also the combination of the fish on top made them soggy. I asked for extra garlic butter twice because this location seemed to give the least amount even when I asked for it initially.
My go to place for lunch in the El Toro area. All of the food is fresh and healthy as well. Great healthy options for lunch/dinner. Would recommend to anyone looking for good fish … More
