California Fish Grill

Honestly, I don’t eat seafood and when my pescatarian friend suggested this place I was skeptical. But the Grilled chicken tacos were amazing and the serving was definitely pleasing. The pricing wasn’t bad either for the amount of food that you get. I’m also not a big fan of rice and the cashier, Tanya, was so nice and informed me of the different option I had. I was able to switch out the rice for fries, never had fries with tacos but it brought different flavors that was mouth watering. Overall, a great place and flavorful food, definitely coming back!

Lately, I've been searching for a good fish grill restaurant. While traveling in East County, I came across this place, California Fish Grill in El Cajon. I didn't know much about them nor their menus. So I Googled search them. Wow! I didn't expect there are so many menus to choose from. So we went and I ordered a seasoned Salmon with mixed veggies to our liking (grilled asparagus and bristle sprouts) and a buttered fish and chips. The Salmon was grilled and seasoned perfectly. It came with grilled asparagus and bristle sprouts. It was delicious. Hmm... The other order was fish and chips but I subbed it with saute zucchini instead of French fries. The fish was served, crispy on the outside and moist in the inside. To my liking. Another excellent dish. As a pescatarian, I've learned to branch out and try new foods and this one was definitely a great and healthy option! It was delicious and service was delightful. Thank you!
