We have enjoyed the food at Calhoun's since moving to Knoxville 4 years ago. BUT...we especially love this location because of Matt. We always go sit at the bar to see our favorite bartender/server. He's super personable, attentive, and provides terrific service! Thank you Matt for always making us feel special!!
It pains me to say this since I was looking forward to a great meal at a restaurant with a outstanding reputation, but the ribs were a little dry and the sauce is too sweet. This is a wonderful place ! We stopped by as we was passing through the city and we are so glad we did ! The food, atmosphere, drinks, and service is spot on ! We will definitely be back ! Our waiter was nice and gave great suggestions.
