I’m mortified!!!! Visited Detroit this weekend for a wedding and decided to stop here after a baseball game. What a complete mess! We were told there was a 20 min wait and opted to sit at the bar. While taking our seats an extremely rude bartender yelled to the hostess that she was done taking customers at the bar. The hostess then proceeded to put us at a table, awesome problem solved … ! Not at all! the restaurant is empty! We sit at the table and wait an hour for food and watch the staff continuously just shy away customers and tell them “ we are short staffed.” They funny thing is the rude bartender is sending shots to the kitchen and is drinking at the bar, but the employees refuse to do their actually job and help customers. I feel Bad for the owners, supervision is needed ! Also observed several employees go out for smoke breaks and not wash their hands when they returned. The server was downright rude to us and the service was terrible! I've worked in food service It's not hard to be nice! The food was the worst "Mexican" food our group had ever had. My rice and fish bowl had the tiniest fish in it!!! It was mostly crunchy cheap lettuce. The steak tacos were chewy and COLD with no flavor. The chips were like out of a bag with no flavor. The rice and beans were also not flavorful. I'd give 3 stars if the server wasn't so rude.
