Cajun Seafood House

We had an hour to kill waiting to check in to our hotel when we found this little gem. We were visiting from Missouri. I am from Louisiana so I tend to miss good southern seafood. I was really wanting some flavor while we were down south. This place did not disappoint. My husband was so impressed he wanted to come eat there again before we left. (We didn't But not because he didn't want to!) We had enough food left over from our late lunch that we just finished up our left overs in our hotel room. We ordered a pitcher of mango margaritas, a dozen oysters on the half shell, he had the butterflied, stuffed shrimp and I had the blackened red fish. Our check was only $90 before the tip. The server did great considering he was the only one e there and it got a little busy. It was a Saturday afternoon. I wish I could remember the servers name but I'm drawing a blank. My family and I saw this place online so we had to try. Let me just say that our experience and the food was excellent! Faith was our server and she did a great job. Very pleasant and great personality! I even asked for Abi(manager) to come to the table so I could tell him about our first impression. He was very thankful and we enjoyed talking to him. Many times, people are always quick to highlight the bad parts of a business, i’m glad I was able to highlight the good today. We highly recommend this place for authentic cajun cooking!

We went here for a rare date night. The food here is absolutely phenomenal! My Fiance and I both had the gator and the crab claws. They were perfectly fried, and delicious! The crawfish etouffee was heaven in a bowl! For dessert we got the key lime pie which was refreshing, and sweet! Thank you to Ms. Faith for the wonderful service and her cheerful smile!
