Visited this establishment for the first time Saturday. Ordered the red fish. The filet was so tough that I actually picked it up and attempted to bite a piece off and couldn't do it. It was like rubber. The waitress offered to replace it with another entree, so I went that route and ordered the boiled shrimp. I assumed that it would be seasoned like a low country boil. It wasnt. It was very bland. Maybe they have a new, inexperienced cook, idk. Next time I'll head on up to Hoover for cajun food that never disappoints.
Bria is AMAZING!!!!! Had a family dinner there tonight, and food was great! She made fresh coffee for me, even though they were closing within the hour. She was the BEST server we could EVER ask for! We ordered the Alligator Bites Jambalaya, Muffaletta, Gumbo, & chicken fingers & Beinets. Food was fresh, hot, tasty & hit the spot!
Just came in and got a poboy and some of grandma donovan’s seafood gumbo and i’m extremely happy with it! Wonderful food!
