CAFE VICO RESTAURANT OCEAN

Changing my review from 4 stars to 3 after most recent experience. The lasagna is a 15/10, and a very generous portion, but it’s REALLY overpriced after tax… over $30 for ONE order of lasagna after tax?!?! Not to mention the price was raised recently. I understand inflation, but you can’t justify and say cheese and marinara has gone up THAT much. Also, the Caesar Salad dressing tastes like it was squeezed out of a $3 Kraft dressing bottle. It’s also unfortunate that when they remodeled, they removed all the booths…. weird.

Dinner reservations were easy to make on short notice for table of four on a Saturday night. Dinner was decadent with Burrata appetizer and rich sauces with the pastas. Prices reasonable. Topped off dinner with espresso martini’s! To our surprise the music was coming from piano bar upstairs!! Danny Del Ray and his lady friends had the crowd singing along and dancing. A nice surprise for after a quiet dinner. Highly recommend!

Very quaint location and the food was great. We sat downstairs but on the floor above it sounded like they had a live performer who was very good. The waiters and waitress were very polite. Again great food!
