I had a really good experience on my first takeout during COVID-19. The food was good and workers were courteous. I didn't even realize they were offering 25% off on all takeout orders, but told. Left all (discounts) in tip box to help out. Came home and had a great meal with family. Fast forward few weeks, came back for another takeout. When the check was given, I thought the total was a bit high, so asked if 25% off was applied (was planning to tip it all back), but I am told that is no longer the case dispite me pointing out to the sign outside indicating 25% off on all take outs. (The pic included with this post) The guy - not sure if owner or cashier - insisted that's incorrect (sorry, but I didn't put up the sign)... It was beyond pathetic. What a scumbag! Never coming back.
Waiter was rude. We ordered one appetizer and one soup the waitress seemed upset by this. The food took too long to come after all it was only a soup and appetizer. The appetizer chorizo was dried out.
The food is the best Portugese I've had. Paella was out of this world. The service was excellent. The other dishes my friends and family had were delicious, they didn't stop raving about them. The owner Manny was very friendly and helpful in making our selections.
