Cafe Smitten

I’m from out of town so this was my second experience here and it was amazing! Beautiful brunch food items and wonderful pour over coffees! I got the mushroom omelette and my husband got the Moroccan eggs. Both beautifully cooked, delicious, and aesthetically pleasing as well. Our daughters shared the toast flight. Didn’t leave a morsel on the plate so that’s saying a lot! The counter culture coffee they used was well balanced and bright. Very delicious. The space is amazing with lots of places to sit and study, work, or chat. I highly recommend this place if you’re in Bakersfield!

Went for the first time with a friend, we were attended right away & our server was super friendly! The burgers, fries, matcha were delicious. This is now my favorite cafe in Bakersfield. Most definitely gonna come back :)

I got the vegan burrito with egg and cheese, and a blueberry mimosa. One friend got the vegan burrito with an egg and my other friend just got the classic vegan burrito. They mixed up my friends burritos, the one who ordered with an egg the wrapper had egg written on it but had no egg in hers. My friend who just did the classic vegan ended up with the egg on his. The blueberry lemonade mimosa was just delightful. Nice atmosphere. Don’t think I could handle the disco music all day.
