Cafe Rio Mexican Grill

I come to this location very often and receive the same tasteless service. Rushed and doesn’t cater to customers needs. As a pescatarian, I was truly thrilled to learn about the September Salmon/October shrimp options, however, the salmon and shrimp have been overly cooked as well as drowned in grease tasting like burnt oil. $20 constantly down the drain due to poor food management. It sucks to only be pleased with a vegetarian salad every time coming to this restaurant.

Update 5 years and dozens of visits later: This cafe rio has really declined. Taste isn’t always the same, portions have dramatically reduced (esp the meat… you can barely taste it on a burrito now), and the prices!!!! From $9 per burrito to over $13 per burrito in such a short time is pretty crazy. The burrito I just ordered tasted only like black beans. We will not likely be returning.

My family and I went to the Rio in West Hills and were treated so kindly by all the staff. We had such a pleasant experience I could not stop thanking the staff for the kindness and patience with us. I can’t wait to go back. The food was excellent as well but it was the staff that made it over the top. Please pass this on to the staff because they deserve the accolades . I could not stop talking about our GREAT experience. Thank you for having such wonderful working with you. Thank you thank you thank you ????
