Cafe 26 (Previously Mother Clucker)

Overall pleased with our experience here. The portion sizes are decent and all the food was very hot and fresh. Chicken breading was crispy, and but I think there could be some improvement with flavor. I got the chicken sandwich “spicy” but couldn’t tell that it was spicy. The sandwich was good overall but I would suggest including a choice on heat level! A good selection of sauces are available, all the ones we tried were good, I’d recommend both the Sriracha ranch and the cluckin’ house sauce. Curly fries and regular fries were also great! I think what they’re trying to do to support the community is also great.

Great experience overall. I was in the mood for some falafel and found this place on my way home. The service was incredible, the food was amazing, and I can’t wait to go back! Oh yea, the funnel cake is delicious and please try the deep fried Oreos!

With everything going on, I've been trying to support local more than usual. Today I may have found the greatest thing $3 can buy, elote nuggets. These things are amazing. I also got the chicken sandwich, spicy, which was delicious as well. Was hoping for a corn dog after seeing all of the "fair food", but maybe in the future ????. I will definitely head back when I need a fried chicken fix or in the mood for a funnel cake.
