Café en Pilón

I was searching for somewhere to have lunch with my mother and grandmother before a movie and I came across Pilón on Google maps. We were pleasantly surprised by the food and service. The food was delicious and even my picky eater grandmother enjoyed it all. The service by Melissa was phenomenal. They had Latin music playing in the background and the location was clean, pretty and overall great atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

This oasis, this fine dining breathtaking restaurant, this magnificent piece of art is by far a diamond in the rough. I can't even begin to tell you how much this place deserves the spotlight. In downtown It would easily be a showstopper with months in advance just to reserve a seat at the bar. With a world-class, 5-star dining experience and South American delicatessen mixed beverages, that will leave the tongue tantalized and wanting If not begging for more. An experience, unlike no other. For there are far many places in Kendall to wine and dine, but few compare to the exquisite taste and magnificent craft that you will find at this establishment. This will become a regular place for me. And I thank God almighty that he had placed me in a location where I am only 5 minutes away from a paradise of culinary cuisines. Great experience! Please go ahead and give this restaurant a try. When you go inside, the hostess greet you and tells that you can seat wherever you feel more comfortable. The menu is digital, they provide you with a QR code to scan with your device. They have a lot of choices but we had their signature dishes and they were AMAZING! Ceviche de pulpo, more on the sweet side but it has an interesting taste Salmon ahumado, simply delicious you must try it. The aroma that provides, paired with the sauce, my favorite (make sure to get your camera ready) Yuca and Plantain balls (meat or cheese) Great appetizers, they feature 2 different sauces, tomatillo sauce or tartar sauce. Both really good. The signature surf and turf ???????? (Corte New York), do yourself a favor and please order this one. Cooked to my desired temperature, seasoned beautifully, it comes with a bed of sweet plantains and cheese sauce Cazuela de Camaron, this plate was amazing, I would ask for a side order of salad or ano
