Café Crème

Me and my hubby had some omelettes and salmon croissant sandwiches on a Sunday morning. We took almond chocolate croissants to go, which tastes so good that it even didn’t make it to the picture gallery :) Cafe Crème was so good that I had to come back with my co-worker during the lunch break. They have this lovely latte bowl mmmm! Customer service is always on point. Highly recommended.

I stumbled upon this place and was so excited because it is French American and I am going to Paris this year.. Of course I had the croissant and Portobello and goat cheese omelet with mixed greens on the side. Delicious. I also got their veggie juice absolutely tasty with just the right amount of ginger as well as beets and apple and I believe carrots. So good. My taste buds were bursting with delight. The bathroom was clean. When I went inside that is when I discovered they have lots of pastries. I shall return for their decadent looking pastries.

We had dinner and it wasn't crowded after 730pm. Parking is off of NE 7th Ave, behind the restaurant and in front of the police department. No charge for parking. The Chef saw us coming and seated us herself. She is very friendly and gave us menu's. I ordered a Cocktail called Haitian Circle, I think. It was very good. We ordered the lentil soup and it was delicious and seasoned to a peppery spice taste. It was nice and thick, not runny and watery. My friend had the ham and cheese quiche. I tried a bite of it and was impressed how fluffy and light it tasted, even the crust was baked and yummy. We both ordered Beef Bourgogne which came with seasoned roasted potatoes. This entree was superb. The meat was tasty and overall appearance with requisite carrots and gravy - a flavorful combination, was scrumptious. For, dessert...I had to try the chocolate mousse. It was light and airy just the right amount of taste and texture. We will definitely go back.
