Café At The Plaza

A hidden gem of Milwaukee... genuinely the best breakfast I've ever had. Our waitress was wonderful and the host who sat us was great as well. The hash browns were the star of the show. They were buttery and soft... my omelet was also delicious. The overall theme/vibe of the cafe was perfect, too. It's stylish, classy, and reminded me of a restaurant that would be in Paris. Definitely give this place a try!

The pancake was good and the hashbrown that my husband had was also good. However the coffee tasted sour. I ordered decaf and my husband the regular one. We thought it was just the milk so we asked for another one but it still tasted sour. This is the reason why I'm giving this place a 3 stars as coffee is the most important part of my breakfast.

Great location, and you can sit outside! Friendly staff! Prices can be a bit high but you’re paying for a little bit better quality food. My shrimp and grits was $15 before taxes. Would I come here again? I always come here! Get the hashbrowns you’ll thank me later! I do want to point out the service can be slow at times so be careful. I am torn between 4 and 5 stars. The speed of service can kill the mood quickly for me, but the quality of the food exceeds average.
