Buster's Texas Style Barbecue

Came here expecting to spend a lot of money, payed around 32 dollars for 2 lunch plates not bad really, the place itself is kinda dated "atmosphere" but the service is friendly an quick the beef ribs ate big and hearty I had 2 and they were delicious the fries were kinda grease but ok my girl had baby back ribs and she said they were ok overall the place is ok just"ok" clean restrooms good parking,the saloon is ok too and theres slots too.

I bit into a broken piece of plastic while eating the potato salad and a sharp plastic shard from green salad- two times in a row. I made every effort to peacefully resolve this issue- I called them to let them know of this and asked to speak with manager- they simply told me they would call back but never did. Their careless and dismissive attitude makes me believe they don’t really value food safety and customers’ voice and furthermore makes me question how they handle food in the kitchen. This is a food safety related issue and should not be overlooked for the sake of future customers. Overall very disappointed. I wish they had called me for an apology at least.

Came here for the southern barbecue. My friend told me this is the best southern barbecue in Portland , and he was right!!! We ordered the brisket, pulled pork, full sack of pork ribs and sausages. This is the best pork ribs I’ve ever tasted! The sauce was good too. The brisket has such a good flavor smoked in, but it shows better in the fatter pieces. Recommended to get all the above ☝️
