Burger Theory

The atmosphere and the service was perfect!!! Kristina was friendly and worked in a timely manner. We tried 3 different burgers, but none of them were good. I felt like they made the burgers out of frozen patties and none of them had any special taste that stood out from your typical Sunday BBQ burger ???? . My strawberry margarita was overly sweet, I couldn't even finish it. The appetizers were okay but again, nothing was special enough to make us wanna come back here again...

I was passing through Joliet with my mom and we stopped at Burger Theory for dinner. Our waitress Amanda was _great_. Amanda helped my mom choose a cocktail; which she absolutely loved. The food (Nashville Hot Chicken for me and Chicken Fingers for mom) took a little bit long to come out However, the food was well worth the wait; which is why I didn't lower the rating by a star. If you're ever passing through Joliet, I would recommend stopping at Burger Theory.

Utter disappointment! Water glasses already present on the table were streaked from what appeared to be a lack of rinse agent in the dishwasher. Some of the flatware had evidence of such as well. The floors under my table and those in the area had not been cleaned between diners. Took 20+ minutes to receive my order of "Sliders" ordered medium-rare and an order of onion rings. Each or the burgers came well-done and the onion rings had been dropped (deep fried) more than once as the coating was closer to being burnt that golden brown and the onion inside was... Tired. When the server asked me how everything was on her trip to the kitchen, I told her and showed her. She apologized and asked if I would like them to re-do the order? I told her I was not prepared to wait another 20-minutes. She walked away.
