Looking for authentic Pakistani food in Chicago, you need to check out Bundoo Khan ASAP! Walking on Devon Ave and noticed this place was packed and decided to give it a try and it was the best decision. The food was absolutely delicious. As you walk in to the restaurant you are welcomed with the amazing aroma of the freshly prepared kabobs. There is a glass wall and you can see the kabobs getting prepared. We didn’t have reservations so put our names on the gwaitlist. We were seated within 15 minutes. The place was super busy and rightfully so. We tried the zinger burger, highway chicken Karahi, grill meat platter, daal, and naan. I can’t rave about the food enough, it was perfectly cooked and the portions size was great. The dishes are so fresh and flavorful. The highway karahi is the star dish and a must try. The grill platter was also so good and kabobs were moist and not dry at All. Daal also tasted really good. After a very long time I enjoyed the food, service and ambiance all at the same time at a Pakistani restaurant. The establishment is clean with tasteful decore, proper lighting and gorgeous paintings. I ordered Highway chicken karahi with beef behari kababs and naan.....absolutely delicious. The best part is service, from hostess to servers, all staff members were professionally dressed up and taking care of the customers. This kind of service is rare these days! If you are in town then do not miss having dinner at this restaurant.
I was very hesitant to try this place but Boy, Am I glad I did. Everything we ordered was yummy.Service was slow but table attendant were good. Staff was friendly and super welcoming. Food takes time as nothing is precooked - they cook it just the way its at home.
