Bumper 2 Burger

After Steve's Gyros shut down i was looking for a new gyro joint and cane across Bumper To Burger, and they DID NOT disappoint!!! Gyro was big, and super tasty, the meat was juicy and a bit charred (how I like it) and not overcooked like most places. As someone who's never eaten Halal meat, I didn't even know what it was, let alone what to expect, but I looked up the definition, bought a burger, and was AMAZED!!! I never understood why I hated most burgers, its the blood, its disgusting, I don't know why ALL meat isn't drained?! Anyway, entire new taste, its actually a clean taste and I can really taste the seasoning! Oh, and their seasoned fries are DELICIOUS, such a nice little kick!!! It is a small place, not much going on inside, but its clean, and there always seems to be a couple people eating in, do I'm sure its just right for a quick bite! Overall pretty happy with the experience but I will say the experience depends on the day. When I came 2 weeks ago the hotdogs were amazing and delicous and loved the way they were cooked but this time they felt more boiled which personally isn’t my favorite. Their beef burger has also been delicious and a favorite of mine. They do well seasoning their fries and their food in general. The chicken sandwich are also tasty. I just felt this time the hotdogs had too much sour toppings on it leaving it bitter. I will say though this is halal restaurant which bumps up my final score. We always appreciate restaurants that accommodate towards this. 4.5/5

My wife and I tried this for the first time around 9:30 pm on a Saturday night. We went thru the Drive-thru. There were about 5 cars in front of us and we spent about 15 minutes in line until we were given our order. The fries were cold and bland. Very disappointing. The Bumper Burger which is suppose to be a quarter pound of meat tasted ok but I think a quarter pounder from McDonald's is much better. It was dry and tasteless. The Philly Steak sandwich was awesome! It was a very good size and felt hearty. The onions, green peppers, and mushrooms on the tender meat and soft bun were just delicious. So I am giving them 3 stars only because the Philly sandwich was so good otherwise it would have been a 1 or 2 based on the burger and fries. One cool thing with the burger was that it was branded. Our total bill fir above plus 2 medium drinks was $28 and change.
