Buenos Aires Cafe, Galleria

I really want to love this place but they need to invest in new furniture (old, creeky and uncomfortable) and I think they need to hire a culinary consultant because their dishes come out and they are not very good to look at. What keeps me coming back is the delicious shepherd's pie and their insanely good empanadas. But every other dish I've ever ordered has come out lukewarm. They need to take some pride in ownership and make some improvements.

Always delicious. A few things were unavailable (not sure if they were just out or if they weren't able to get them). But, we always enjoy this place and will be back. (Observation: we had never eaten inside before, as we really enjoy their patio. Being that it was 105 outside, this time we opted for inside. A man came in, sat down across from us, propped his feet up on a chair. He seemed to be associated with the restaurant. To me, this was uncalled for.)

Used to love coming here a few years ago. The empanadas and the lomito steak sandwiches were amazing. Then COVID happened and you get the feeling management drove off all their good staff. Quality went down. Huge amount of staff turnover for awhile. With the drop in quality the amount of business they brought in fell as well. So they raised prices. An empanada used to be $3.50 a piece, now they cost $5.50. This lead to less customers since now everything is expensive. They lost out on an entire economic class of customers. This place was great, but the management just keeps making things worse. It’s a real stupid shame.
