Buen Provecho ABQ

This ls basically my first time in Albuquerque. I thought we would stay in Old Town because it would be interesting and might be walkable. We chose to walk to El Vado hotel and get food from Buen Provecho. It's a cute outdoor food court and motel in the Adobe style. Bo5h the Bartender and the Cashier were apathetic. The vibe from the staff was very LA or Austin cool. Provecho cashier successfully discouraged me from ordering dinner by insinuating it would be a thirty minute wait. Basically I came enthusiastic and looking to try something new and instead I was met with indifferent staff. I ordered the "chips" because as a former restaurant worker I know that chips and salsa don't usually take long. It only took ten minutes for them to arrive but it also took the same amount of time for the family that came after me to get their dinner. I was fine , not too disappointed but I just don't understand discouraging guests from ordering food. There is a way to relate a possible long wait in

Fantastic vegan options. No having to guess what on the menu is vegan. Hands down the best vegan tamales I’ve ever had - and we ate both the vegan tamal options. Normally I hate olives but I even loved the tapenade one. The vegan bowl was big, beans and veggies were excellent. Got a blackberry smoothie with oat milk. In love with this place.
