Bub's Burgers & Ice Cream

Outstanding customer service as well as the food. I had the chicken burger with a little barbecue sauce and my friend had the quarter pounder. The waffle sweet fries were cooked to perfection and couldn't stop eating them ...I left 2 to make it look good. The burgers were cooked perfectly as well. Our waiter Max was so very pleasant and very attentive without being over attentive. The waiters work hard for your satisfaction and I could see that. The pictures in the wall indicate a lot if local support. I was visiting from out if town but will go back in a heartbeat!

Yum. Good stuff. You may want to check out the portion sizes on the way in. Examples are in the cooler as you walk in. If you are brave, you can go with the Big Ugly. If you finish the beast, you'll get your picture on the wall. I went with the Elk and a side of small sloppy fries. Both were excellent.

Food: the Big Ugly Elk burger I had was pretty good. It was a new experience for me. They have a special spicy mayo dip they make, definitely worth a try. It goes great with the fries. Service: I got there and there weren't any free tables outside. However, the inside was completely empty. They still made me put my name and number down to wait for a table. 30mins later, still no call to get a table. I went back to them stood at the front until they tended to me. Finally got a table and still had to wait another 10mins until they decided to come take my order. Overall: Carmel is a really beautiful city. Very pedestrian friendly. The burger was massive and tasty. If they had more workers, I'd be giving them 5 stars. But the service just wasn't as fluid as it should be. I'd still recommend visiting for the food and city!
