Bua Traditional Thai Cuisine (Tasty Thai Lotus)

After a busy and crowded day of shopping on New Years eve we stopped by for a bite. We have passed this place so many times and had always said that we needed to give it a try. The restaurant is clean, so are the bathrooms. Beware, the water is very hot! We were seated immediately and had a few minutes to peruse the menu. We ordered the Tom Kum? as an appetizer (This is the coconut based soup). I had the iced tea and Thai Basil chicken and my wife had the beef Drunken noodles. All of it Thai hot ????. They have a scale from 1-6 and will make sure you understand that this is not for the weak of heart! I absolutely loved my dish. It was heavy with all ingredients and was seasoned perfectly. I love crunchy veggies and was not disappointed. My wife enjoyed her dish but found the beef to be a bit thick and chewy. This is the reason I have rated them at 4, not 5 stars. Today I experience something a little unusual. As I entered the restaurant a customer stormed out claiming the food was garbage. Now, my family and I have eaten Thai food in many restaurants here in the USA as well as in Europe, in fact cooked by many good Thai friends as well. The 5 stars rating is in reflection of how authentic the flavor of their food was as well as the presentation and how courteous the waitress and the manager were while serving me and my family after such incident just occurred. I am sorry I didn’t take many pictures but my kids and wife were so pleased with the aroma of the food and didn’t get me a chance to snap a picture with my phone. I will certainly come back to this place to have dinner again and if you ran into this place I will recommend their Penang Curry and their amazing Thai tee.

The food is quite good. The service was even better. They didn't waste any time making us wait around. However, I'm giving 4 starts because some items in the menu was not available. But I do recommend you to try this restaurant. The food is really tasty. I recommend only trying medium spicy if you don't want to burn your mouth. Ask for the chili sauce to add extra spice if you need more.
