This is one of the first reviews I’ve ever left anywhere. The wait staff is very rude, they fussed at the hostess because of where we got seated. One of the waiters; a white headed gentleman was staring at me nearly the entire time”every visit to the point of sale kiosk” if I could see him out of the corner of my eye he was staring. The other members in my group noticed and told me. He also made complaints to the wait staff for seating 2 of us based on the fact that we had beards. The food; I got a Caesar salad that had cardboard croutons”chewy” the dressing tasted like mayonnaise”like store bought miracle whip” the lettuce was chewy and Hot I also got the fettuccine Alfredo and it was alright nothing special about it. I spoke with who I believe to be Nino according to the server name on the check he claimed to me the Manager. Throughout the whole meal while being stared at continuously they never once offered to refill our drinks and once a complaint was voiced to Nino he made no atte
Exquisite food, exquisite service! This restaurant pays attention to details! I am not local, but have had the pleasure of dining here on a number of occasions over the years. They have the same commitment to perfection in dining I have seen in numerous European and other travels. I have never gone wrong here. Fish: excellent! Veal: excellent! Steak: excellent! (Here's the compliment of all compliments: my healthy 91 year old Dad described his recent steak as "the best he had ever eaten" and "how steak should be served" (on a searing black stone, still in the process of heating). The staff work together well, each attending to their roles with the professionalism I've seen in fine restaurants. If you want a drink and to soak up the ambiance, there is a bar. They also have an excellent wine list. Raleigh (and adjoining Wake Forest) are fortunate to have such an establishment. Parking: More than adequate! Never a problem! Wheelchair accessibility: Appears to be ADA compliant (parking,
Food was excellent. Service was the worst I’ve ever experienced in any restaurant considering It was my Birthday night dinner. If you go, make sure you don’t have Giuseppe “Joe” as your server. We were treated as a transaction with no hospitality. We even gave him an opportunity to engage by telling him it was my birthday and it was our very first time there. Nothing. We had to ask him recommended dishes. And no birthday wish. No introduction, we asked for his name and didn’t offer desserts. I’m assuming he is the “white haired” server that is referenced in many of the poor reviews.
