A e was great it was pretty crowded but we got sat fast and the server came pretty quick to take our drink order then our food order soon after. Food was great I had the chicken Parm with spaghetti and a salad. My girlfriend had spaghetti and meatballs. The portions were big and the food tasted wonderful. … More
The pizza was pretty good (im from NYC so maybe a harsher critic than most). The crust was nice and thin and the sauce was tasty. We also ordered the spaghetti (not linguine??) with clam sauce. First of all, it came with grated cheese all over it. I can’t understand why. Second, It was pretty flavorless and the clams were not served in the shell. Also, no salad or bread was offered with the dish. The real head scratcher was when the server gave us our change though. She gave us all twenties with two dollar bills. She wasn’t getting tipped $20 on a $35 bill, so we scrounged up another $2 and tipped her $4. We would have gladly given her a $8-10 tip had she provided the proper change, so she shorted herself. Waiting tables 101, people. Our food did come out quickly though. In short, not good enough for us to drive all the way from NE Mesa for.
We picked up calzones for our first time trying this place and I was super excited to eat it but once we dug in the entire bottom of the calzones were drenched in water and it was disgusting. The top part was delicious and it definitely had Great flavor!! but i don't like mushy dough it was pretty bad.
