Brooklyn Pizza and Cafe

I never go out of my way to leave a review but this deserved my time. As somewhat of a pizza euthiusuast, I had high hopes for this pizzeria that I've never tried. Advertised as "Brooklyn Style" I was excited to try it. My order was a personal thin crust spinach and chicken pizza with onions, green peppers, garlic and basil. What I received was as very shorthand version of what I was expecting. The pizza was indeed a thin crust and crispy, so that was a positive. However, the pizza overall was very bland with large chucks of dry chicken, chunks of peppers and chunks of onions. No basil and no garlic, none that I could taste anyways. The spinach, cheese and sauce was plentiful, but still bland. The taste of the toppings did not blend together as if everything were thrown on at the last minute. So each bite was peppery or onionry. Honestly, if you’re looking for something simple and fresh, this is the place to go. It’s delicious and made with care. Also generous portions for a great price. Love it.

prices do not match the quality, the bread was stale, like pilaf - everything was cooked most likely in the morning, and served after 6 hours. The dishes do not match the recipe. They didn't offer water. Lula kebab without salt and without Cumin.
