Broad St Pizzeria

We tried their dinners and their heroes and finally there pizza they where all outstanding the pizza was like New York pizza and the dinners where on point and the heroes where delicious they are our new pizzeria Keep it up!!!!!!

I had a five star review up for this lovely little place, but after the experience on the phone with the lovely lady at the front counter I going to go ahead and give it 1 star. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. She did not seem to know what a Chicken Cutlet was, which is absolutely inexcusable. It's like walking into an ice cream shop and the clerk not understanding what a chocolate sprinkle is. I was corrected ad infinitum and told "we have a California chicken sandwich". Go ahead and ask someone in California, for a "California" chicken sandwich, they will not understand, and maybe you will experience the same level of frustration I am right now. The problem with a lot of these pizza joints in eastern PA is there's usually a corpulent, locally-raised, Caucasian woman hired to run the front desk that knows absolutely nothing about the business, the menu, the entire operation. I attempted to place a decent sized dinner order. When I called I spoke with "the owner". I asked the owner to please put the shrimp dish in a separate bag. He was carrying on another conversation with whomever was in the background. He directed his attention back to my call and asked again what I wanted to order. I proceeded to tell him again and to please place the shrimp in a separate bag due to food allergies. He then screamed at me. "Yeah yeah I heard you put the shrimp in a different bag". I said excuse me? He said "yeah shrimp in a different bag what else to you want". I then asked if he was the owner. He said yeah. So after 10+ years of business from my family which are usually pretty large orders. I will no longer order from such a rude person. Respect goes both ways.
