Lunch with friends Pros: very nice staff, and gave some tables outside. The inside of the restaurant is simple, with some tables and cloths as you'd expect in a BBQ place. Cons: the food was ok-ish, not spectacular for a BBQ place that had some good reviews. In fact, it did not smell BBQ/smokey in the restaurant, which often is a good signal at this type of restaurant Parking: Plenty of parking in the area. Also, they have some parking in the back of the restaurant
The food was excellent :-) I had the pulled pork sandwich with a side of chili mac and ice tea for $14, which I thought was very fair price. Their bbq sauce is the bomb! My husband had the 3 meat combo and was totally happy and took some home because there was so much meat, and my Dad had 1/2 order of short ribs and cleaned his plate. They don't serve alcohol but you can purchase some at the liquor store a few doors down and bring it in to have with your meal, so that made my Dad and husband pretty happy. Overall we had a great experience and our waiter was really nice and had a great personality. We will definitely be going back :-)
I like the meat ????????. I had BBQ chicken, link, and beef ribs. The potato salad, and macaroni and cheese needs help. The potato salad was bland, and the macaroni and cheese was watery. Although, if I had to choose the macaroni was barely passable. You do get a thumbs up for having Hawaiian rolls.
