The service was fast and the food was delicious. The brisket and the Mac and cheese are must trys! The kids plates are cute, abundant and come with dessert. The seating is communal. Its super kid friendly. The bathroom even has a changing table. We will be back. Parking: There are a limited number of spots so grab the first one you see. It's often a full parking lot. Kid-friendliness: Highchairs and room for kids to move around a little. The kids meals are plentiful and come with dessert.
It’s almost unfair to rate the service and atmosphere because nobody comes here for either of those. It’s all about the BBQ, and considering we’re in Seattle, it’s very good. In fact, I think they’ve gotten even better post-pandemic.m, if that’s possible. The brisket is amazing. The spicy bbq sauce has a little heat, which my whole family likes. My wife remarked yesterday that the side dishes are better than the last few times we ordered. She’s right. Best bargain on the menu is a pulled pork sandwich with a side. Delicious. Will definitely be back!
I travel, a lot. I've had great brisket in Missouri, Georgia, Tennessee. I have no idea why this place is rated so high. We stopped by on Saturday evening at 6. Theres no parking, and there's rarely parking on any evening. My wife did a walk up order for takeout. She was told they had no brisket left. This has been a thing here for a long time. You'd think they would know by now how much food to make. Having the food customers' want make them happier. It turns out they had some chopped brisket left. We got the side coleslaw, 1 pound of brisket, and 'made-in-house' banana pudding. The brisket was $26, pudding $6, Coleslaw $5. It took 15 minutes to get 3 items that are already prepared. I've had this BBQ 3 times, hoping it'd be better. Nope. The brisket was dry and had so much oil on it. You can see in the pictures the brisket dunked half in oil. Almost felt like they added all the oil to make it weigh a pound (for $26). The bbq sauce was just okay. The coleslaw was tastel
